What software can help me show driving direction here in america?

i need a software that will help me with driving direction. I tried Google Earth Beta, and Local.Live.Com but the problem is i need a program that doesnt need to be connected through internet.|||Delorme makes stand alone map and direction software.|||FYI, You can get voice driving directions from 1-800-555-TELL on any cell phone for free.

|||Cell phone navigation software. Verizon has one.|||Try download.com and search for driving directions - there are some free downloads for iPods, Pocket PCs, all sorts of stuff.

Microsoft sell 2 versions, one with a GPS sensor and one without. The latest version gives spoken directions.
